Potassium Nitrate is the most commonly used oxidizer in fireworks. It is used to make black powder, rocket fuel, stars/comets, primes, glitter and spark-producing formulations.

This is high quality, 99% pure prill form potassium nitrate. Use as is if you are ball milling it to make black powder, or it can be easily fluffy-milled with a cheap coffee and spice grinder.

Prilled nitrate is sometimes preferred by fireworks makers because it remains free flowing in storage, and is priced far less then it's air-milled counterpart. It's the most economical option for pyros who don't mind a quick, easy pre-processing step before use.
